2 terrorists killed in encounter with security forces in Srinagar | India News – Times of India

SRINAGAR: Two unidentified terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces in Srinagar district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, police stated.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Khonmoh space, in the outskirts of town, following details about the presence of terrorists there, the police stated.
The search operation became an encounter after terrorists opened fireplace in the direction of security forces positions, they stated.
Two terrorists have been killed in the following gunfight, the police stated, including that the identification and group affiliation of the slain terrorists was being ascertained.
