DOMJUR: Union house minister Amit Shah had lunch at the house of a ‘rickshawala’ right here in Howrah district on Wednesday after winding up a highway present at Domjur meeting constituency.
Sitting on the ground of the modest house, Shah had a easy fare of rice, dal, greens and salad made by the womenfolk of the house.
The Union house minister was accompanied by BJP candidate for Domjur Rajib Banerjee and different leaders.
During the lunch, the host sat in entrance of the company taking care of them.
Earlier, Shah held a highway present via the slim roads of Domjur city with a big crowd in attendance.
Standing atop a lorry adorned with flowers, cutouts of Narendra Modi and BJP flags, Amit Shah, with BJP president J P Nadda, and occasion’s candidate from Domjur Rajib Banerjee, waved at individuals who had queued up on each side of the highway.
With bands taking part in ‘Sare jahan se accha’, Shah threw flower petals at the group, which surged because the present proceeded from Jagdishpur Haat to Kona crossing.
