Apple to use Tesla ‘megapack’ batteries at its US solar farm

San Francisco: Apple will purchase Tesla batteries for its solar farm in California that will probably be used to energy the corporate’s company headquarters in Cupertino, the media reviews stated.

According to The Verge, the Apple solar farm will encompass 85 Tesla lithium-ion “megapacks”. The new setup will retailer up to 240 MW-hours of power and has been accredited by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors final 12 months.
