Explosion strikes unused ammunition dump in Saudi Arabia – Times of India

DUBAI: Saudi Arabia says an explosion has struck an unused ammunition dump in an space southeast of the dominion’s capital, Riyadh.
Saudi state tv made the announcement Wednesday after a social media video circulated of a plume of smoke close to Kharj.
The TV report mentioned nobody was injured in the blast, which it described as unintended.
Kharj is near Prince Sultan Air Base, which hosts US forces. The US army didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
