Extremist Islamist Group’s Member Arrested For Kerala RSS Worker’s Murder

Palakkad (Kerala):

An office-bearer of the Popular Front of India (PFI) was immediately arrested in reference to the killing of an RSS employee in Palakkad district of Kerala, police stated right here.

The district police chief R Viswanadh informed reporters right here that the arrested activist was straight concerned within the killing of A Sanjith at Mambaram within the district. Police stated the opposite culprits could be arrested quickly.

The id of the office-bearer has not been disclosed as his identification parade needs to be performed as a part of the investigation.

Meanwhile, BJP State president Ok Surendran met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi, in search of a probe by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) into the killing.

In a letter to the Home Minister, a duplicate which was made recognized, the BJP chief alleged that 10 RSS-BJP activists have been killed in Kerala by alleged jihadi teams within the final 5 years. He alleged that to date about 50 Sangh Parivar activists have been killed by them within the State.

The police claimed the breakthrough in Sanjith’s case amid protests by the BJP and the Sangh Parivar over the delay in arresting the culprits. Attacking the CPI(M)-led state authorities and the police, the BJP has sought a probe by the NIA into the killing.
