India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeds 38.50 cr | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Aiming to vaccinate all its residents towards Covid-19, India has administered over 38.50 crore doses of coronavirus vaccine in its ongoing inoculation drive up to now.
As per the 7 pm provisional report, 34,10,974 vaccine doses had been administered on Tuesday.
The authorities report additional added that just about 12 crore folks within the age group of 18-44 had been administered vaccine doses. As many as 11,59,50,619 folks in 18-44 age group throughout 37 states/UTs have acquired their first dose and a complete of 40,19,089 have acquired their second dose.
While 15,49,982 had been administered their first dose, 1,19,121 folks within the 18-44 age group acquired their second dose.
Over 50 lakh first dose of Covid-19 vaccine got to folks within the age group of 18-44 in eight states – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal have administered the primary dose of Covid vaccine to greater than 10 lakh beneficiaries in 18-44 age group.
