Iraqi PM says arrested IS finance chief wanted by US – Times of India

BAGHDAD: Iraq’s Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi introduced Monday the arrest of Sami Jasim al-Jaburi, who was sought by the US for allegedly having managed the funds of the Islamic State group.
Jaburi, who allegedly additionally served as a deputy to former IS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was arrested by intelligence providers “outside the borders” of Iraq, Kadhemi stated on Twitter.
The US had provided a reward of as much as $5 million for the seize of Jaburi.
