Mamata Banerjee’s Nandigram Allegation “Factually Incorrect”: Election Body

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s conduct at a poling sales space in Nandigram final week is below scanner, the Election Commission has indicated, dismissing her allegations of disruption of polling on the sales space.

Calling Ms Banerjee’s handwritten compaint “factually incorect”, the Commission stated Ms Banerjee’s motion on the pollling sales space was fraught with “immense potential to have adverse effect on the law and orderacross West Bengal and maybe in some other states”
