PM seeks names of BJP MPs absent during key RS voting | India News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Upset over absenteeism by some BJP members from Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday requested for the names of these celebration MPs who weren’t current within the House when voting for a statutory decision moved by a number of opposition MPs was held, sources stated.
Speaking on the BJP parliamentary celebration assembly on Tuesday, Modi requested parliamentary affairs minister Pralhad Joshi to submit particulars of those that weren’t current within the House when the voting was held, celebration sources stated.
They stated the PM was visibly sad over the empty treasury benches on Monday when division happened whereas the Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2021, was taken up in Rajya Sabha. The affect of Modi’s sturdy phrases was on the spot as treasury benches had been nearly full on Tuesday, though the celebration had issued whip in view of the controversy on 127th Constitutional Amendment Bill.
