Stray bullet hits Kansas tourist near NYC’s Times Square – Times of India

NEW YORK: A tourist from Kansas was hit within the shoulder by a stray bullet near New York‘s Times Square early Wednesday, police mentioned.
The 44-yr-outdated man was shot shortly after 2 a.m. near West thirty eighth Street and Eighth Avenue, a police spokesperson mentioned. Police don’t consider he was the meant goal, the spokesperson mentioned.
The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is secure, police mentioned.
The Daily News reviews that the sufferer advised police he attended Tuesday’s Mets-Phillies recreation in Philadelphia after which took a practice or bus again to New York. The man was headed to his lodge when photographs have been fired, police mentioned.
