Three Men Pushing Car On Highway In Nagpur Hit By Truck, One Dead

Nagpur:

A 30-year-old man was killed and two others had been critically injured on Monday after a dashing truck hit them from behind after they had been pushing their snag-hit automobile on a freeway in Nagpur district of Maharashtra, police mentioned.

The incident occurred close to Kondhali city on the nationwide freeway no. 52, round 50 km from Nagpur metropolis.

A police official mentioned the 4 occupants of the automobile had been returning to Nagpur from Amravati after taking darshan of Goddess Amba.

Three of them had been pushing the snag-hit automobile after its engine broke down on the freeway when a truck rammed into them from behind, he mentioned.

“All of them sustained severe injuries and were rushed to a hospital by police where Akash Adsude breathed his last. The condition of two others is critical,” he mentioned, including that the truck sped away after the accident.

Police have registered a case below varied sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicle Act.
